WHY CHOOSE BEEFURNI TEAK CUTTING BOARD OVER OTHER ALTERNATIVES?

WHY DID I RECEIVE THE CUTTING BOARD WITH A BIT OIL ON THE SURFACE? Beefurni cutting boards are pre-seasoned with food-grade oil before delivery so they might come a bit oily. However, it is not a big deal as we wrapped the cutting board in prelure paper to absorb excess oil & limit rancidity.

HOW TO CLEAN AFFTER COOKING? After each use, hand wash the board with a cleaning sponge and soapy water, then dry it with a soft cloth. Remember to wash both sides of the board to prevent swelling and warping. Then wipe down the board and allow it to dry thoroughly overnight.

HOW TO PREPARE THIS CUTTING BOARD FOR THE FIRST USE? For first use, we suggest you apply a good amount of mineral oil to the entire surface of the board & let it soak in overnight. This process helps to properly moisturize the cutting board after a long process of shipping to you.

HOW TO MAINTAIN TEAK CUTTING BOARDS? Although Teak wood naturally contains lots of oil, we advise oiling your boards at least once a month with mineral oil or beeswax on both sides with a soft cloth. Leave the oil to soak in, overnight if possible, or for at least 3 hours.
